Our client is looking for a Technical Product Owner to be responsible for the successful delivery of high-quality products, assisting clients with requirements analysis, project management and support. He or she will also be responsible for coordinating multiple projects across brands and clients.

The Role

• Eliciting requirements from project stakeholders
• Understanding and illustrating requirements by means of producing relevant artefacts, including context diagrams, process flows, data flows, C4 diagrams and other relevant artefacts
• Documenting the impact of requirements on the high-level architecture of systems
• Analysing software documentation (e.g. API documentation)
• Understanding and communicating a software systems technical stack at a high level
• Clearly defining project context deliverables and outcomes
• Writing comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria
• Managing development projects
• Working with developers and Scrum Master to produce time estimates for project work
• Planning and managing iterations
• Managing client relationships by running professional meetings with product stakeholders
• Building trusting relationships with clients
• Managing stakeholder expectations
• Working with customers in the ongoing enhancement and improvement of the product
• Providing input into product direction and strategy
• Suggesting product enhancements and improvements
• Managing product support and guiding operational processes as required

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 4 year’s experience as a technical product owner/ project manager/ business analyst in the tech industry. 
• A qualification in project management, business analysis or related field would be advantageous 
• Excellent grasp of ticket writing, agile delivery and business analyst processes
• Must have experience using Jira for agile delivery
• Technical acumen is a must for this role, and successful candidates will need to illustrate a thorough understanding of software systems
