Human Resources Manager

Our client is looking for a human resources practitioner to join their team, working on site. 


The Role

Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring the correct application of all company policies and procedures 
  • Effective recruitment and selection 
  • Manpower planning and movements 
  • Implementing and maintaining sound HR administration practices 
  • Accurately compiling monthly HR reports timeously 
  • Effectively handling various HR-related queries 
  • Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with key role players 
  • Maintaining good relations between management and labour/employees 
  • Arranging and attending disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings, CCMA cases, and IR-related issues 
  • Arranging and minuting monthly union and transformation meetings, and ensuring items are addressed


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in human resource management 
  • Minimum three years’ experience in HR in a manufacturing environment 
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with HR systems 
  • Experience in industrial relations and handling CCMA cases 
  • Experience in unionised environments is essential 
  • Understanding of business principles and HR environments 
  • Educos knowledge would be an advantage 



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Leadership skills
