We are very pleased to announce that 30 candidates from our Buccleuch and Noupoort ServeSA Training delivery centres have completed Level 1 and Level 2 of their National Certificates in Information Technology: End User Computing. This NQF Level 3 course requires the passing of eight levels of certification before receiving a full qualification, but the skills that the candidates have learnt are invaluable and are already making a difference to their lives. For example, some of the Noupoort candidates have made PowerPoint presentations for their small businesses, which they will use to advertise their products and hopefully grow their businesses. Not only is this beneficial to their businesses, but their confidence and self-belief has also grown dramatically as a result of their new skills.

Based on the success of these two projects, in partnership with local schools and charities, ServeSA Training is planning to set up three more training centres in 2023. The areas of focus include the communities of Bongindawo in KwaZulu Natal, Soshanguve north of Pretoria, and Promosa, Potchefstroom.

A big thank you to Entelect Software for sponsoring these students’ studies, and for their commitment to sponsor 130 students in 2023.
