We are pleased to announce that 274 students from our 15 training centres throughout South Africa have graduated from their MICT SETA Information Technology End User Computing classes. The year-long course covered a broad range of basic ICT concepts, topics and practices. Graduation ceremonies were held for each of the training centres amongst much joy and celebration. A big thank you goes to Entelect Software for sponsoring all these students.

We are also pleased to announce the following winners of the Alpha Omega Schools ICT project, in which ServeSA students were given the opportunity to participate:
Lelani Botha (Atlantis, Western Cape), Phindile Radebe (Olievenhoutbosch, Gauteng), Thobile Maphumulo (Bongindawo, KwaZulu-Natal), Minenhle Nzimande (Bongindawo, KwaZulu-Natal), Confidence Hlengwa (Hlutankungu, KwaZulu-Natal), Sinethemba Ntshiza (Underberg, KwaZulu Natal), Yuganov Ndayisaba (Athlone, Western Cape), Teboho Lesolle (Springs, Gauteng) and Prisca Phiri (Braamfontein, Gauteng).
To complete the project, students were required to create a PDF booklet and a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on an Alpha Omega Schools topic of their choice. Winners were assessed according to their comprehension of their chosen topic and the professionalism of the online material they produced. Each winner received a R5,000 prize, which was sponsored by Alpha Omega Mission.
